I am the clinic director of PHYSELITE. I lead the PHYSELITE rehabilitation team, working closely with chiropractors, registered massage therapists and certified strength coaches to provide seamless integrated care.
I participate regularly in the Ontario Bridging Program for Internationally Educated Physiotherapists (OIEPBP) at the University of Toronto. I assist in the learning experiences for program attendees as they make their way through preparation for Canadian licensing exams and work in Canada. Physiotherapists from the program shadow me at my clinics to gain experience in the Canadian work environment and discuss ideas for physiotherapy practice.
I provide mentorship and preceptorship for University of Toronto final year Physiotherapy Masters students & OIEPBP students. They complete 4 or 5 weeks musculo-skeletal physiotherapy placements under my supervision in preparation for licensing exams and the work place.
Worked with the Men’s and Women’s Canadian national cricket team, summer 2013. Consulted on injury management, physical preparation for tournament play.

I was one of the lead therapists managing the team of therapists providing courtside coverage of the 2015 Pam Am basketball tournament at The Mattamy Sports Centre.
Coaching cricket, basketball and being a physiotherapist has given me extensive experience working with young athletes. Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) and physical literacy are the foci of my treatment approach. I prepare active young people for the demands of their sports & activities so they can play at their best, without pain. I implement preventative programs to minimize injury risk. Skill drills are incorporated into the program. Enjoy your sport more: Improve your technique! Be physically prepared! Play pain-free!
You do not need to be ‘in pain’ to be treated by me. My work as an international coach & sports Physio helps me to help you. I assess sport participants of all levels and develop functional training programs to help them perform better at their sport, minimise injury and enjoy their sport more.
One of my favourite clinical areas is managing pain & injury in the tendons of the Achilles, rotator cuff and knee. I coach and educate patients through the graded strengthening program needed to resolve their pain and prevent it recurring.
Runners will get injuries! However, they can be minimised. I manage the range of running injuries: IT Band syndrome, Piriformis syndrome, Hip ‘Bursitis’, Anterior Knee Pain, Patellar Femoral Pain Syndrome, Shin Splints, Achilles Tendon Pain, Plantar fasciitis. I complete comprehensive assessments of your functional lower limb strength & running loads. I will use video for movement analysis if required. I am a registered Specialist with The Running Clinic.
I have had 13 years experience rehabilitating patients after spinal surgeries (decompressions, Coflex, discectomies); Knee surgeries (ACL repairs, arthroscopies, knee replacements), Shoulder surgeries (rotator cuff repairs; shoulder replacements, stabilisations, fracture repairs); Achilles tendon repairs; Hip surgeries; Lower limb fracture repairs & immobilisation.
This is a common issue in a range of people from runners, to store workers, to teenagers engaging in their weekly sports hobbies. I used a graded loading program to gradually take away the heel pain. This is a biomechanical issue with a biomechanical solution. (Read more. Link ).
